Rules, Guidelines & Policies For OUR RUST PVE SERVER

[GLOBAL] - Cheating & Ban Policy (all servers)
  • Cheating: The usage of cheats, scripts, macros, and/or programs to gain an unfair advantage over other players on RUST PVE Servers is monitored, prohibited, and will result in a permanent ban from the all our RUST PVE servers.
  • Ban Evasion: The creation, purchase, or use of a new account to evade or bypass a ban placed by the RUST PVE Server Team will result in all accounts associated to you and/or your household being permanently banned from the RUST PVE Server network (all servers).
  • Bans & Appeals:
    • Players may appeal bans applied to their account by joining our discord server and (2) using the #submit-ticket channel to submit their appeal.
    • Each ban may be appealed only once and it must be appealed by the player whose account was banned. No repeat appeals or appeals on behalf of another player.
  • Chat, Voice, & Content Communications:
    • The use of racial slurs is prohibited and will be censored.
    • Doxxing (using/leaking real life information of another player for malicious purposes) is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
    • Threats of real-life harm against players or team are prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
    • Spamming / advertising / poaching to other servers of any kind is prohibited and will result in appropriate action being taken against the offending account.
    • Communications that violate the Terms of Service for Steam, Facepunch, or Rust and/or local applicable laws are prohibited.
    • Ethics & Integrity: The RUSTPVE Team is committed to performing our duties with the highest level of ethics, integrity, and honesty in all interactions.

      • No In-Game Manipulation by our Team: The Rust PVE Server team members are committed to not artificially impacting the natural state and progression of gameplay on our servers. We will never use our powers, permissions, or capabilities to impact gameplay or in-game mechanics.
        • No spawning of items or entities.
          1. Exception 1: In the event of a server crash or major server-caused issue, players are eligible for lost items to be returned/compensated by Team using our #submit-ticket support system.
          2. Exception 2: We do reward our entire community with Pookie Bears for special occasions (or to compensate for crashes/inconveniences). These are in-game teddy bears that are placeable and provide a comfort bonus.
          3. Exception 3: Very rarely, for big server achievements (raising money for charity, server birthdays, or reaching a high rank on BM), we may also hand out Coffins or other items to all online players and normally through a giveaway contest in-game.
    • No changing the in-game time or weather.
        • No removal or relocation of walls/objects/entities unless it was due to griefing.
        • No modification of decay rates, gather rates, or spawn rates.
    • No Power Abuse:
        • All actions taken by the RUST PVE Server Team Members must have a legitimate business purpose for performing the action.
        • All actions taken against players must have sufficient evidence collected in advanced to ensure certainty and validity of the mute/ban. All evidence must be reviewed by a human prior to issuance of the mute/ban.
        • Any actions taken by Staff Members that are deemed excessive, spiteful, retaliatory, ego-driven, or otherwise improper will result in reversal of the action taken and immediate action taken against the Team Member including potential removal from the Team.
        • All information, data, and toolsets provided to the RUST PVE Team Members are strictly for the purpose of maintaining and enforcing our in-game rulesets, guidelines, and policies. The use of this information for any other purpose, or the sharing of this information to non-staff members, will result in immediate termination.
  • RUST PVE reserves the right to update the official rules, guidelines, and policies at any time.
  • RUST PVE reserves the right to deny service to any player for any reason at the full discretion of the Team.
  • The official rules, guidelines, and policies of RUST PVE are not considered all-encompassing.
    • Players should use common sense and act in good faith while playing on our servers.
    • Any player found to be substantively harmful to the overall community or the server itself may be removed accordingly.
    • Just because a specific situation is not covered in detail by our rules does not mean it is allowed.
